Farm Diversification Project
Church Farm is the test development of a replicable community and enterprise scheme with Agrarian Renaissance. A methodology to reinvigorate rural communities based on a local, low carbon community based initiative and innovative dwelling concepts. The project focused on providing for the direct production and distribution low input ecological food, catalyst for local business thereby creating a low carbon, re-localised economy and community with an infrastructure able to capitalize on the economies of scale. The buildings are very consciously developed out of vernacular signifiers, while the layout refers to rural settlements, loosely defining a village green and farm yards along track out to the working fields.
