Percy Street is a conversion of a Grade II Listed Georgian terraced house in central London into six flats and two floors of office space. The project consisted of the remodeling of the main listed building and adding a new build, four storey, glulam timber frame to the rear. Due to the restricted nature of the site the larch frame elements were fabricated off site, panelised, and craned over the existing building into position; the principal structure was erected in one day. Larch was chosen due to its sustainability and durability when exposed to the elements. The project won the Off-Site construction award for best building.
